COMPUTER KEYBOARD SIMULATOR PROGRAM IN TURKMEN

Considered program is designed to improve and test the fast typing abilities. This program is the first program of its type developed with Turkmen interface.

This program consists of two program modules. With the help of the first module the user can test his/her ability to fast type by means of competition. Given module allows to upload texts which are no longer than 300 symbols, in case of text which is longer than required, the program will automatically shorten it to required length . With the right typesetting of consecutive symbols , the character will begin to move characterizing with his movement the speed of user’s typesetting. 4 types of competition are proposed:

- battery life - the user tests his speed;

- persecution – the user tries to increase speed of typesetting in conditions of his character by the character of computer opponent;

- competition - the user types in a rivalry with one selected from the results of previous user database;

- networking – competition in real time on two LAN computers . In this case one of the computers is a server and the second is a client, the program can perform the function of a server and a client.

The second module allows you to arrange training on typesetting of separate symbols and words, and thus improve the quality and speed of writing the text. The training consists of displaying on the screen separate symbols and words which have to be typed correctly in 1 minute. Program proposes 4 types of training:

- Only national symbols – only specific national symbols are displayed on the screen;

- All letters – All letters of national alphabet are displayed on the screen;

- All characters - All characters and symbols are displayed on the screen;

- WORDS – random words from the program database are displayed on the screen.

Program allows to save such results as number of mistakes, average typing speed in 1 minute and etc. also allowing to review and compare them.

The program was created on Delphi object-oriented programming language.
