The considered program allows precisely and in short terms to prepare calculation of the specified department on the basis of the confirmed summary annual plan of specialities. The program performs the following series of calculation steps of hours:
1. First of all the list of specialties taught in the department is determined.
2. Then , the table of database groups in which are shown specialty, years and number of students in a group is filled.
3. From the dialogue windows summary annual plans of specialties are consistently to the program entered as electronic documents (Word or Excel files). These files processed with the help of special WinAPI functions and are entered to the program’s database in the form of tables.
4. The next step is to enter the name and character (preparing specialists, general) of the department , number of teachers.
5. On the basis of the name of the department, from tables created in paragraph 3 are chosen only those disciplines, which are taught by this department sorted by first and second half-years. So, separate discipline lists are created on first and second educational half-years.
6. Further begins the most important part of the program. On given formulas number of educational weeks, number of hours of lecture, practical, laboratory classes, exams, tests, term papers and etc. are determined for each discipline in particular.
7. After the settlement of all disciplines sorting and summarizing on half-years are performed in each of tables.
8. After all necessary work is done, processed tables are exported, with the help of WinAPI functions, to electronic documents of Word or Excel programs.
So, created software independently read out electronic documents of educational plans, performs sorting of disciplines taught by the specific department, sorts them by educational half-years, calculates number of hours of lecture, practical, laboratory classes, exams, tests, term papers and etc. , summarizes all data on discipline and half-years and creates a report in Microsoft Word document for further edition and press. So, this program allows to calculate hours of any specific department in short terms , more importantly correct and without mistakes.
The program was created on Delphi object-oriented programming language.
