Within the framework of the work in question, a special program for recognizing test responses was created in Delphi programming language. Thus, the authors set themselves the task of creating a universal test system, which can be applied in the current conditions of technology development.
The program analyzes the scanned test response pages. On these pages, opposite the question number of the test, rectangles are placed to paint the correct answer. Thus, in order to determine the number of correct answers to a test, it is necessary to verify the numbers of filled rectangles with the template correct answers.
The created program reads the graphic information from the scanned image, independently recognizes the filled rectangles, compares their numbers with the reference ones, counts the number of correct answers and writes the results in the form of a report to a physical file.
The work of the program does not depend on the color and method of painting the rectangle (pencil, pen, felt-tip pen etc.), for 1 second it allows to recognize one page with answers.
The program was created on Delphi object-oriented programming language.
