Currently, the widespread use of digital technologies in various industries and fields allows us to free employees from the same type of routine, less responsible work, which also requires a significant amount of time. The use of digital technologies in the education system, in particular in the everyday work of a teacher or teacher, provides even more opportunities. In this work, as an example, developed the software of the electronic journal of the teacher.
Work with the created electronic journal is carried out on the basis of a database of students. This database contains information about the student, such as his last name, first name, patronymic, location, nationality, year of birth, etc. To enter the electronic journal, each user uses his username and password. The user can work and use information only in accordance with his status (director, head teacher, class teacher, teachers of disciplines, students, etc.). In particular, the director has broad powers. A class leader can edit data only of his class of students, a student can view information related only to him.
Teachers give marks in the framework of their subjects and write down the topics of lessons in accordance with the intended date.
If necessary, the teacher can automatically deduce the average pupil per quarter. To do this, the system automatically summarizes all the ratings given for a quarter and displays the average rating. The annual score is derived as the arithmetic average of the quarterly grades.
The electronic journal allows you to create dozens of reports based on the entered data. For example, reports on grades of students in one discipline and separately grades of one student in all disciplines, information on the composition of students. All these reports are created in Microsoft Word.
The created program allows you to electronically carry out such routine and paper types of teacher's work as filling out the attendance and academic performance journal, conducting classes, etc.
Thus, this program streamlines the work of the teacher regarding knowledge control and reporting, freeing up the time of teachers for more creative work.
This program, although it is aimed at secondary schools, however, after the conversion it can be applied in educational institutions of any level and type.
The program was developed on Delphi object-oriented programming language.
