This program on tasks performed is one of the first in Turkmenistan.
The created software offers the following new opportunities for students:
v Multimedia primer illustrating and announcing the letters of the English and Turkmen alphabets;
v Electronic book on the grammar and correct use of English;
v Conventional Turkmen-English and English-Turkmen dictionary;
v Multimedia dictionary, which speaks the most used words;
v Software module for literal translation of texts from English into Turkmen and from Turkmen into English;
v Testing module in English;
v Multimedia-interactive audio dictionary, illustrating words and their meanings;
v Information complex of words of Omofonov, including sound animations of each word, tests and exercises corresponding to the value of Omofon;
v Software multimedia-interactive module elucidating and explaining the use of Synonyms, Antonyms and Homonyms.
The program has several types of dictionaries: conventional, voice and animation dictionaries. Thus, the user is offered the opportunity to get acquainted not only with the word, but also with its meaning, pronunciation and graphical accompaniment, which makes the learning process not only cognitive, but also interesting and enjoyable. In addition, the created software has examples of the use of words of homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, homophones in Turkmen, Russian and English languages with corresponding illustration and animation. This, in turn, will facilitate the mastering of the material. The program provides another great opportunity - literal translation of Turkmen or English texts from one language to another. This method of translation, although not very accurate, allows the user to save time from viewing dictionaries.
The program was created on Delphi object-oriented programming language.
